Which CMS
Hey,

I have a site which i am going to install a CMS onto i have used xoops but im wanting a change something a ltitle more suted for my needs. My site is going to be a computer programming, linux and sciance website. I need it to do the following.

- User management (with different levels such as mod's, regular users, admins)

- Forums (a nice forum with a good control pannel intergrated within the rest of the admin pannel for user managment and such like)

- Blog/Reviews (i am going to review linux distrobutions and other nice bits of software)

- Quizes/polls (i need the ability to make quiz's and polls and to handle the results in a nice neat way.)

- Profiles (I want the user to have some kind of a profile even if its just basic information about them)

- Ability to restrict pages to a particular group/users/user

What CMS do you suggest, i don't want to use joomla its to heavy i find and having some mod's on my site i don't want them to have to spend hours wokring it out.

Thanks

RE: Which CMS
There's always TikiWiki: http://www.tikiwiki.org

It's got all those there and although it may be large, you can disable almost every feature it has that you don't want. It's about as easy to configure as phpBB.

RE: Which CMS
For those people recommending Joomla, read the original post:

Quote:What CMS do you suggest, i don't want to use joomla its to heavy i find and having some mod's on my site i don't want them to have to spend hours wokring it out.

Please read the post before actually replying. The title doesn't always say everything!
